Cashmerette - Elmwood Skirt I became a Cashmerette Contributor in February 2023. The first pattern I made was the Elmwood Pencil Skirt.  I am not one to stick to the rules and I like to hack the patterns so with this one I added a centre front zip and zipper teeth details to the pockets.  Elmwood Skirt Exude confidence with the Elmwood Skirt! The Elmwood is a sleek woven pencil skirt designed for curves with hip-hugging side seams, back darts, and a curved waistband. View A is knee-length with a back slit and front angular pockets that stay flat when you sit, while View B hits above the knee with no pockets. I made a size 18 in the end. Suggested Fabric: Mid-weight woven fabric such as wool suiting, linen, poly/cotton, or poly/wool blend. Lining:  Lightweight lining fabric such as rayon Bemberg.

Chilton Trench Coat This is the very first Cashmerette pattern I made back in 2021. The fit was excellent  on the toile. I have had so much success with Cashmerette patterns since making this coat I have made many of their patterns. The Ashwood Pants are elegant ponte pants with stylish princess seams and optional front slits, and of course, pockets. The Ashwood is fitted through the waist and hips and flares below the knees, with a yoga-style waistband for the ultimate in waist comfort. A super-speedy sew, you'll be ready to hit the town in your secret pajamas in no time. Pattern Sizing: PDF download only. 0-32, Includes 35-62” hip.  Separate files for both size ranges (0-16 and 12-32) are included.  Recommend fabric Ponte or double knit with approximately 30% stretch across the grain and 10-20% stretch along the grain. I used bengaline from Spotlight which does not have any stretch along the grain. Fit Changes I didn’t make any fit alterations because I assumed they would fit me. That was silly of me really because I just made the Cashmerette Meriam trousers and took out 1.5” from the crotch length. I
